Scenes of Early South Australia: the letters of Joseph Keynes of Keyneton

This essay first appeared in the Journal of the Historical Society of South Australia, vol 10, 1982, and is reprinted here with minor amendments.

Rob Linn studied history at the University of Adelaide. He taught history at a number of tertiary institutions and, in 1985, established with his wife, Jane, a historical consultancy. Their work has included commissioned projects: from small-scale research to the production of high quality publications, and to the management of large commercial and international oral history projects. Rob has written over 30 books.
