Most of these short articles, originally read daily by Keith Conlon on his morning program on ABC radio in 1992-93, were prepared by Alison Painter at the request of Susan Marsden, the State Historian at the time. They include biographical pieces about prominent and interesting South Australians, articles on buildings, bridges, towns, shipwrecks, fires, events and other diverse items. Other entries have been contributed by other members of the PHA and reflect similar aspects of the history of South Australia.
